More and more we are coming to realise that there is somthing we are searching for, something we are missing, something that cannot be bought and has nothing to do with luxury, owning or wealth.
It's something that is not for sale. Something that is given to all and still remains hidden. It is the mystical path of discovery of our true inner strength.
It is also something that cannot be learned from books. It's something that can be passed on from person to person, from heart to heart. In Sufism it's called transmission. Mystics and poets have done their best for centuries to capture it, and still it always eludes words, it is an experience.
In the Islam there is a practise called ' Zikr' (Remembrance) "La illaha ilAllah Hu" (There is nothing that is not the One.) A truth that with pracise opens further and further revealing more and more beauty and truth.
From ancient times mystics and prophet-(ess)es have encouraged us to get to know ourselves. This is the food for our meetings.
These meetings are based on wisdom that lies within each of us, supported by the practises of Spiritual Liberty as brought to the West by Hazrat Inayat Khan and his student Hazrat Samuel L. Lewis (founder of the Sufi Ruhaniat International and the Dances of Universal Peace). We will practise realizing the Divine in us and around us.
We will deepen our understanding that each path is unique and priceless. Each path is a path of self-discovery, an opportunity to open ourselves into the fullness which we truly are.
We will work with practises with which we can discover the Mystic in ourselves. It reveals our true power, our true essence. Teillhard de Chardin Through practise we can learn to maintain our integrity and balance in all circumstances. The practises offer us tools to ground and balance us during our daily activities.
It is a course for spiritual seekers who long for more insight and practise in the process of self-discovery. It is also a deepening and refining for those who already have a spiritual path.
We will share a meal. Please bring something to eat to share with the group. In this way we create a 'magic buffet' meal of abundance.
