The Dances of Universal Peace

In a circle, using simple mantras, prayers, hymns, and wazaif, we sing and move the words of various world traditions. The Dances of Universal Peace are open and accessible to everyone; everyone is welcome, young and old, of all denominations and no denominations. We come together for peace, within ourselves and for peace in the world.

The words of the various prayers in original languages ​​are learned, as are the simple movements of the Dances. Meditation and prayer in motion.

This dance form originated in America by Murshid Samuel L. Lewis in the 1960s and is now a worldwide dance network.

Wear clothing that allows you to move comfortably, and please also wear slippers or socks.

The Absent Healing Ritual.

This ritual form of distant healing was given to us by Hazrat Inayat Khan over 100 years ago. He was a travelling Mystic, Musician and Spiritual Teacher from India. In order that his students could support and help each other and others heal spiritually he gave them this ritual. 

The participants are not there for healing for themselves, the ritual is an act of service, to be a channel for healing for others. Because of this intention to be a channel for healing, of course the participants receive healing themselves, though this is not the intention. In being of service one also receives.

There is a brief check-in for participants, then spiritual practice, three meditations clear the energy to be of service and the number of names taken during the ritual is limited. The meeting is generally about an hour.
