This is ZubinNur´s first CD.
The CD comes with a small booklet with explanations of the texts and where appropriate a description of the accompanying Dance. The CD is mantras and songs which have ´come´ to Zubin. All the melodies are original. As the title says they all ´Honour the Divine Feminie´. The CD has 10 tracks, 3 of which are Sanskrit Mantras, which are thousands of years old, the others are songs that have ´come´ to Zubin as she has worked with the energies of these Goddesses in meditation and song.. . The recordings are simple, there is no mixing or modifying, often no accompaniment occasionally drum or sax, just as Zubin works with groups for the Dances of Universal Peace or during Sufi retreats.

This will be a recording of Mantra singing with overtones as done during a Sound Soul Healing Session. Though the mantras again are thousands of years old, the melodies ´come´ to Zubin, and that is what she sings though it is not unknown for these ´new´ melodies to be very similar to the traditional ones. There is an attunement in the akashas. Others CD´s in the planning are Universal Worship, and and Praising the One. Zikrs and other melodies.

Dit is een CD vol Zikrs. Er zijn hele uptempo en jazzy Zikrs en andere zijn meer traditioneel. Er is ook uitleg over wat Zikr is, en wat het voor mij betekent. De Zikr 'The Rhythm of Life' is een 'oorworm' met een melodie dat bij ons blijft, en ons herinnert (zoals Zikr dat doet – het woord Zikr betekent herinneren) dat er geen grenzen zijn aan het Goddelijke.

Theezakjes wijsheid! In 2011 was ik voor het eerst op het Unicorn Kamp in Duitsland. En daar hadden we ook Yogi thee. Op de labels van elk theezakje staat een wijze spreuk. En toen begon het te stromen, bij veel van die wijsheden kreeg ik gelijk een liedje. Makkelijke liedjes, met inspirerende en opbeurende teksten om ons door het leven te dragen.  Veel hebben al een Dans, en van andere ... misschien krijg jij de Dans door!

Deze CD heeft mantra's, gebeden, liederen uit veel verschillende tradities: Hindoeïsme, Boeddhisme, Afrikaans, Zoroastrisch, Jodendom, Christendom en de Islam. Enkele dansen zijn in mijn eerste jaren met de Dansen van Universele Vrede gekomen, anderen zijn in de loop der jaren gekomen en een paar zijn redelijk nieuw. Een ding is zeker ze hebben allemaal een grote kracht.
